The AWE ML Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Kevin Bilger as Managing Director, AWE Plc.
Kevin joins the organisation from Lockheed Martin (LM), where he was most recently Vice President, Programmes and Quality for Space Systems Company. In this role, Kevin has been responsible for programme management, programme planning, supply chain management and quality assurance across a broad portfolio of space and missile systems business.
His association with LM spans over 30 years, spending his early career in satellite design engineering for U.S. national security, civil and commercial space systems. Kevin has held key executive positions with LM Space Systems Company. He was previously Vice President and General Manager of Global Communications Systems. Other key Vice President assignments included programme management, supply chain and product management, military space programmes and engineering.
Kevin Bilger added: “I am honoured to join this exceptional organisation and look forward to continuing the high standard of innovative scientific research, engineering and associated production to ensure an effective UK nuclear deterrent.”
