AWE neighbour notification of planned protest activity

As part of AWE's commitment to be a good neighbour we wanted to notify local residents about planned anti-nuclear protest activity planned in March 2015.

The protest group 'Action AWE' has said that it intends to 'lockdown Burghfield' on 2nd March, with protest activity expected from early morning.

There is also the possibility of further unplanned protest action during the rest of March at both the AWE Aldermaston and Burghfield sites.

We are expecting all the activity to be peaceful but disruption may be caused to local residents.

Thames Valley Police has a Twitter account @wbprotestinfo which will carry up-to-date information for motorists.

Information will also be shared with local residents via the Thames Valley Alerts system. People can sign up to this free service by going to https://www.thamesvalleyalert.co.uk/.
