AWE support Basingstoke Voluntary Action (BVA) 2015 Christmas Collection

AWE has delivered over 200 food parcels to the Basingstoke Voluntary Action (BVA) 2015 Christmas Collection for the homeless and underprivileged families.

AWE staff have been busy during the last few weeks collecting food items including mince pies, canned vegetables, toiletries, blankets, tea, coffee and Christmas snacks which have been delivered to the BVA HQ in Basingstoke.

Kathryn Marshall, Interim Director of HR, AWE, comments: “Basingstoke Voluntary Action (BVA) do some fantastic work to help the community and I’m thrilled AWE staff have been able to contribute to such a worthy cause. AWE is committed to supporting local and national charities with donations, sponsorship and practical help.”

Stephen Morgan, Chief Executive of Basingstoke Voluntary Action (BVA) comments: “I’m overwhelmed by the response from AWE staff. This generous contribution means a large number of homeless and vulnerable people in the borough will receive a little extra this Christmas. On behalf of the community sector in Basingstoke and Deane, we thank you.”

Many companies in previous years have donated money to help with winter food box appeals. If you would like to do this please contact Admin@BVAction.org.uk or for further information is available from BVA administration (Natascha Shepherd) on 01256 423816.
