Our Community Committee is a group dedicated to coordinating AWE’s support for many good causes – both local and national. The Committee’s contributions benefit a wide range of charitable organisations, and range from donations to sponsorship to practical help.
In addition to the considerable funds donated by the Community Committee, members of AWE’s graduate and apprentice programmes also take part in a number of major fundraising projects, providing not only much needed finances but also donating valuable time.
Further support comes from our quarterly company awards (which recognise our safety performance levels), where the winning teams donate the prize money to a charity of their choice.
