Next steps

AWE recruits into the Apprenticeship scheme once a year. Applications can be made on-line (which is the most efficient and environmentally friendly way of applying), or by calling our Recruitment Team on 0118 981 4111 for an application form to be sent in the post. CVs can be attached to the form whichever way you choose to apply.

After the closing date, we’ll then invite candidates who meet the minimum entry requirements in for ability testing. Candidates who achieve the appropriate level in the tests will then be invited for an interview.

After this, offers will be made (conditional on satisfying all the usual pre-employment enquiries required for AWE – security clearance, occupational health and references) and Apprentices will usually start work on the first Monday in August.
