Training & development AWE

Since Assistant Scientists are typically at an early stage or their careers, we make sure a wide range of support is available, from on-the-job training and in-house coaching to a wide range of technical and personal development courses. If external courses are needed, we cover the cost of the training and travel arrangements and make sure you have the time off you need.

If you show particular promise, there is a good chance we will encourage you to study to degree level or higher – usually on a part-time basis – and provide full support. We also encourage all of our employees to join their relevant professional body and we pay for up to two memberships per year.
