When people think about science, they often picture experiments, researchers and breakthrough ideas. Less visible (but equally important) is the infrastructure that makes those breakthroughs possible.  

AWE has reaffirmed its commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable workplace by supporting the Women in Defence Charter, a sector-wide initiative designed to improve gender balance across the UK defence enterprise.
