Gender Pay Gap Report

AWE has reaffirmed its commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable workplace by supporting the Women in Defence Charter, a sector-wide initiative designed to improve gender balance across the UK defence enterprise. 

AWE's Nuclear Threat Reduction programme works closely with colleagues in the United States, a long-standing international partnership dedicated to strengthening global nuclear security.

A survey has revealed that AWE's Aldermaston site is home to a collection of ancient, veteran and notable trees, highlighting the site's rich natural heritage and reinforcing AWE's commitment to protecting valuable ecosystems.
