Are you an aspiring theoretical scientist?

You can play an integral role within our Physics team which includes a diverse range of  work to support the delivery of our mission, focusing on;

  • Radiation detection measurements and analysis
  • Photo, electron and neutron modelling codes
  • Simulating and measuring material properties in exotic states of matter such as those found in the centre of stars and planets
  • Developing new and novel computational algorithms to solve physics problems
  • Complex mathematical assessments

Our work is of the highest national security so you must be a British Citizen to apply.

The opportunity

You’ll be given the opportunity to focus your skills and develop your experience in one or two project areas, gaining a deep insight into the work you are helping to deliver.

You’ll be supported by a line manager and a mentor who will help you navigate your time with us and support you in developing the skills to build your scientific career within the defence industry.

MODELLING | ALGORITHMS | DEFENCE INDUSTRY
