Manufacturing Engineer Apprenticeship

Your mission

At AWE, manufacturing is critical for the successful delivery of our programme of work. We manufacture a wide range of products, materials and tools and our operations include precision component manufacture, explosive formulation and warhead assembly and disassembly.

As a degree apprentice, you’ll develop the knowledge and skills to enable the design and manufacture of these products, and the creation and configuration of manufacturing process documentation to ensure we operate safely, while working towards a Bachelor’s Degree.

A-levels at Grade 4 (C) or above in a Maths based subject or a Science, Technology, Engineering or an additional Maths related subject. Or 90+ credits in an Engineering BTEC at Level 3.

WORK PATTERN

You’ll be based at our Aldermaston site with one day a week off-site at college.

We have free on site parking.
