Our Portfolio, Programme, Project Management (P3M) team allows for the flawless delivery of projects across AWE, including facility construction, science, IT and product manufacture, safely and securely – while being on budget and on time.
Our work is of the highest national security so you must be a British Citizen to apply.
THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED
All degree disciplines may apply although Project Management or Business Management degrees are desirable.
LOCATION: ALDERMASTON NEAR READING
You’ll be based at our Aldermaston site near Reading.
We work a nine-day fortnight. That means every other Friday off work + 270 hours of annual leave.

The opportunity
You will have the chance to take the knowledge gained from your degree so far and really apply it. We will also provide you with external training, allowing you to spend your year upskilling as well as experiencing task-based learning.
We have such a variety of projects on at any one time that we can’t give you the exact details right now. Plus, quite a few are classified. But some of our previous undergraduates have worked independently on projects and others have been assigned complex projects that play a larger role.
We’ll make sure you’re mentored throughout and supported by experienced project personnel and experts in their field.
