As part of our Sustainability, Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) team, you’ll be a part of driving real change. You’ll be at the heart of our mission to improve environmental performance and make sure we stay ahead of the health and safety standards that keep our people safe.
Our work is of the highest national security so you must be a British Citizen to apply.

LOCATION: ALDERMASTON NEAR READING
You’ll be based at our Aldermaston site near Reading.
We work a nine-day fortnight. That means every other Friday off work + 270 hours of annual leave.

The opportunity
You’ll gain hand-on experience working with the central team and alongside deployed safety specialists supporting key delivery areas.
You’ll be collaborating with facility operators and project managers to assess risks, shape safety strategies and keep us compliant with health and safety legislation.
This is a dynamic role offering variety, teamwork plus the opportunity to use your knowledge and skills to pitch new ideas and ways of working to influence policies and future thinking.
What you’ll learn
SAFETY MANAGEMENT | RISK ASSESSMENTS | INDUSTRY STANDARDS
You’ll become an expert using our Safety Management System, gaining practical experience across a variety of projects and our world-class facilities.
You’ll learn how to carry out risk assessments and inspections using industry-standard tools to identify effective safety controls. You’ll have the opportunity to deliver safety initiatives for the benefit of the business to shape how we work.
