International Women’s Day

AWE recently welcomed colleagues from the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) for a visit that highlighted the very best of our people, facilities, and professional culture.

Delegates from six countries and 33 universities, national laboratories, industrial and government organisations gathered in Liverpool last week for NuFor 2026, the only open international conference dedicated to nuclear forensics and nuclear security.

As part of the UK's commitment to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, AWE hosts a familiarisation course for staff from the International Atomic Energy Agency.
