AWE helps shape new resource for nuclear industry professionals

AWE has contributed to a newly published textbook, Nuclear Data: Applications to Society and Industry, released by IOP Publishing and now available online.

Edited by Professor David Jenkins from the University of York, the book brings together expertise from across UK academia and industry. Several AWE subject matter experts provided significant input, helping to shape content that explores the essential role of nuclear data in areas such as national security, energy production, and medical isotope development.

Professor Jenkins commented: “It was extremely valuable to have contributions from AWE-based experts on nuclear theory and nuclear data to our recently published book. The breadth and range of expertise afforded was very impressive.
