Join AWE’s Finance Graduate Placement and develop the skills to provide the financial insight, control and challenge that support responsible decision-making and delivery of our mission.

From the start, you’ll contribute to meaningful work, taking on real responsibility while learning from experienced professionals in a supportive environment. THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED

Minimum 2:2 in a Finance-related degree such as Business and Finance, Finance, Mathematics or Economics.

Availability to join AWE in September 2027.

LOCATION: GREEN PARK, READING

You’ll be based at our Green Park Offices, Reading, Berkshire with occasional site travel.

We work a nine-day fortnight. That means every other Friday off work + 270 hours of annual leave.

Your journey

Throughout your graduate journey, you’ll build broad experience across Finance, developing your skills in financial planning and analysis alongside financial and management accounting.

You’ll gain practical experience within Finance Business Partnering and other Finance service areas, learning how clear analysis and financial insight can support effective decision-making.

Alongside your day-to-day experience, you’ll undertake professional training and have the opportunity to develop your expertise in an area that interests you, helping you shape your future career in Finance.

What you’ll learn

FINANCIAL PLANNING | ANALYSIS | MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING

You’ll develop an understanding of how Finance supports a complex organisation and major programmes, building practical skills in financial planning, analysis and management accounting.

You’ll learn how effective business partnering and stakeholder relationships can influence decisions, while gaining experience in financial control, compliance and decision support.

Alongside your practical development, you’ll build your professional accountancy knowledge through a funded CIMA or ACCA qualification, helping you develop the expertise for a long-term career in Finance.
